About Me

Candice Evans didn’t grow up thinking that she wanted to be a photographer. Originally she wanted to be a doctor, but quickly realized that she was much better suited in the business field than the medical field where she graduated with a degree in Marketing from Hawaii Pacific University. Candice is an extremely talkative person that will make you feel like you have been friends for a lifetime. 

Growing up in a tiny boarder town in Washington State, Candice learned to love the outdoors. She ended up meeting her husband, Jacob, when she moved to Seattle. They have been married for more than 15 years and she will tell you that she was in love with him long before they ever went on their first date. Candice is a military spouse which has provided the opportunity for her to live around the world from Seattle to Hawaii, England to Maryland, North Carolina and now California. They have two daughters, who are the reason Candice fell in love with photography. 

Candice has always enjoyed photography, but the moment she fell in love with photography was in the days following the birth of her oldest daughter. It was at that point in time she realized the importance of having top-quality photographs. The experiences with her own daughters and her travels around the world have molded Candice’s photography style to embrace natural light and capture life’s raw moments. She loves how no two outdoor sessions are the same, but with each she loves being able to tell a story of the photo shoot. She is able to capture a moment in time that families are able to look back on a lifetime and remember exactly what it was like in that moment. Whether your daughter finally has enough hair to garner her first pony tail or when your son has lost his first tooth, Candice looks forward to helping you capture these special moments.
